How it works
Q: Do you support PAYG licensing?
A: Unfortunately, we do not support PAYG licensing at this time.
Q: What ISVs do you support?
A: We have a list of ISV partners that can leverage this program through Carahsoft. However, we are constantly expanding and exploring new opportunities to broaden this list to meet our customers’ changing and growing needs. Please reach out to us to learn more about the ISVs we support and whether we can accommodate your targeted ISV.
Q: How do I handle upgrades, renewals, etc. with this method?
A: The process is very similar to what you’d encounter with a traditional renewal quote or purchase order submission. The only difference is that this process would be brokered through AWS or Azure marketplace. For example, if you need to increase your BigIP VE 1Gbps Best bundle to a 3Gbps Best bundle, just reach out to your J2R representative. After you request this add-on license increase, we’ll present a non-binding quote. Upon agreement, the marketplace offer is created and extended to your AWS or Azure account. After you accept, the add-on license will become available.
Q: What information do I need to provide and what preparation do I need to take in order to take advantage of the J2R Marketplace Offer program?
A: To effectively process a J2R Marketplace Offer, there are specific details we require from you. Primarily, we need the Account ID(s) of the primary payer account(s) – essentially, the account(s) responsible for all monetary transactions. Additionally, it’s important that these account(s) are set to invoicing. To facilitate this, we recommend following the steps outlined in this helpful video: Enabling Invoicing Terms. After watching the video, we advise creating a case immediately to enable Invoicing Terms for your account. This preparation will ensure a smooth and efficient setup for taking advantage of the J2R Marketplace Offer program.
